For more than 100 years the Society of Innocents has seen its members continue the unparalleled leadership and selfless service that made their collegiate careers worthy of membership into the society.

Currently there are more than 700 living Innocents spread all over the country and in all kinds of professions--doctors, lawyers, public officials, journalists, and professors.

Famous Innocents alumni include former United States Senator Bob Kerrey, former Governor of Nebraska Norbert T. Tiemann, former United States Attorney General Herbert Brownell, current Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning, former Lincoln mayor and state senator Don Wesely, current Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations Larry Johnson, current Tennessee Titans linebacker Kyle Vanden Bosch and current University of Nebraska President J.B.
