Spring On Campus Internship (Marketing/Sports/TV)

CSTV is currently recruiting interns for our campus rep program. It is a great chance for anyone interested in marketing and/or sports to get some hands on experience and network. We have some exciting projects coming up this Spring, including the Collegiate Nationals (http://www.cstv.com/thecollegiatenationals/) that we will need help on.

CSTV, the 24-hour college sports network from CBS Sports, is looking for campus marketing representatives to help revolutionize college sports! (www.cstv.com)

Are you a college marketing or communications major looking to gain hands on internship experience in the industry? Are you a driven, enthusiastic, and in-touch with everything college campus-related? Become a part of the CSTV Campus Rep Program! (Interest/knowledge in campus athletics is a plus.)

Throughout the semester you will work on hands-on grassroots marketing promotions on your campus. Together, with the fellow CSTV Campus Reps from your school, you will be creating strategic marketing plans and executing a variety of campaigns on campus. Past campaigns have included Power Bar, CBS and Sportsline, and CSTV's Collegiate Nationals (sponsored by Xbox and Jack in the Box).

QUALIFICATIONS
CSTV Campus Reps must be college students who can receive credit for participation in the program (we will fill out any necessary paperwork). Applicants must be driven, self-starters who are organized and creative. You should also know the ins-and-outs of your campus, be resourceful- have good connections that you can tap into, and involved in campus organizations. It is also essential that applicants be reliable, know how to work in a deadline driven atmosphere, and have sufficient time to dedicate to this program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work with the other reps on your campus to create a strategic marketing plan for each project
  • To effectively promote and create awareness for CSTV initiatives on campus. This includes activities such as flyering, postering, viewing parties, and giveaways
  • To blanket your campus in a targeted manner with materials provided
  • To summarize and successfully capture the work you have done, your execution, and tactics
  • To keep in constant communication with the rep coordinator and participate in all components of the rep program

To complete all work to the best of your ability in a professional and timely manner
