Marketing Internship
The Lincoln Journal Star is looking for a creative, goal-oriented intern to join the marketing team for the spring semester. Learn about the exciting world of marketing in a fast-changing media company.
Our sales and marketing intern will help develop sales and marketing materials for the Lincoln Journal Star, JournalStar.com and our other niche publications and products. Work with an interdisciplinary team to research best practices, interpret market data, learn about the media sales process, develop sales and presentation materials and develop sales training.
Additionally, the intern will be asked to assist with other marketing support and market research projects.
The internship will run mid-January through the end of the semester. There is the possibility of a summer or fall marketing internship as well. This paid internship is 15-20 hours a week.
Our ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This individual must be able to work well under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines. Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
