We are looking for creative and motivated undergraduates to act as liaisons between Unigo and UNL's community in an internship lasting through the fall semester. Responsibilities include creating as well as soliciting bylined written content from students on UNL's campus. This content will be featured on our website and could be published in future college guidebooks. Representatives may also have the opportunity to report for our blog, and will help build and strengthen relations between Unigo and UNL's administration, students, and campus publications. Representatives will be on call for inquiries from editors at Unigo, and may at times be asked to participate in editorial decisions.
Applicants must be organized and responsible as well as creative and outgoing. We will consider students from all class years and majors. The internship, which will require a commitment of between four and six hours per week, is unpaid and will run through the fall semester. Interns will communicate with their supervisors, the editors at Unigo, via email and telephone each week. If desired, we will work with you to obtain course credit.
Please send resumé and/or list of extracurricular activities, and any major scheduling conflicts aside from planned school breaks (i.e. you will be off-campus for a week) to Daniel@unigo.com Applicants will be evaluated on a rolling basis - we advise candidates to apply in a timely fashion.
