Dow Jones Editing Internships

What:  Prestigious paid summer internships in multimedia editing, news editing, sports editing at newspapers across the country. 

What’s Included: Free pre-internship training courses at journalism schools. $1,000 scholarships to interns who return to college. Travel expenses to training courses and internships.

Who’s Eligible: Juniors, seniors and graduate students.

How to Apply:  Complete a web-based application at https://www.newspaperfund.org  Click on programs, then click on college internships. Register as an “intern applicant” to receive a password and login. The application takes time. Do not wait until the last minute.

The Test:  You must complete the online application to be eligible for the Dow Jones test. The test will be offered twice at UNL.  Sign up sheets are on the internship board in the newsroom on the 2nd floor of Andersen Hall. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION AND SIGN UP FOR THE TEST NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, OCT. 23. 

The tests will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26 in Room 335, and from 4 to 5 p.m.
