Journalism Internship Opportunities in Washington, D.C.

We are accepting applications for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 Political Journalism track of our Capital Semester program at Georgetown University. Sponsored by The Fund for American Studies, the programs are semester-long academic internships held in Washington, D.C. for undergraduates interested in exploring careers in the field of journalism and communications.

We award over one million dollars in scholarship funding annually!

CAPITAL SEMESTER: POLITICAL JOURNALISM

Sponsored by The Fund for American Studies in partnership with Georgetown University, Capital Semester combines substantive internships, courses for academic credit, career development activities, exclusive briefings and lectures led by working journalists.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the Final Deadline of June 1, 2008 for Fall 2008 and November 1, 2008 for Spring 2009. Students applying by the Early Deadlines listed above are given preference in admissions and scholarship decisions and will receive a 5% discount on their tuition balance.
