Two NRC internships available
NRC has two marketing & advertising internships open - one entry-level internship and one for a more experienced marketing/advertising student.
Ideally, the successful candidates will be sophomores-seniors who can make a minimum commitment through the summer - and possibly into the fall and through the school year. These are paid internships (up to $10/hour), up to 29 hours/week. Hours are flexible to fit around class schedules. They hope to fill these positions ASAP.
The entry-level internship responsibilities will likely include:
* Track media placements
* Assist in the management of The Governance Institute Web site
* Assist in the development of articles for both internal newsletter,
electronic communications and website
* Monitor healthcare publications for relationship management information.
Enter data into SalesLogix database.
* Organize and maintain stock of TGI publications. Responsible for reorder as
needed.
* Assist sales teams with research cold calls, mailing services and other
special projects.
* Must have good computer and phone skills, be accurate, detail oriented and a
good decision maker. Strong interest in the healthcare industry preferred.
The upper-level internship responsibilities will likely include:
* Graphic design using NRC Picker brand
* Maintain contact lists
* Assist in development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns
* Assist in commercialization of NRC Picker website
* Work with internal resources and creative design firms to design and format
all case studies, news articles, and brochures
* Manage client communication newsletter
* Manage webinar process
* Writing sales and marketing materials
* Competitive intelligence activities
* Duties as assigned
