Nebraska Sports Council Texas Hold 'Em Show
The Nebraska Sports Council and Time Warner Cable are working on a television show commemorating the 2007 Texas Hold 'Em State Championship Finals. The format is basically the same as ESPN's World Series of Poker. We need talent for the play-by-play and commentary, and we'd like to use broadcasting students, preferably those with similar project experience. Ideally, both people would also have some experience with Texas Hold 'Em so they'd be believable using the lingo.
The show will be aired on Time Warner's Nebraska On Demand (101 on the digital tier). The 2006 show was one of the most widely-viewed shows in the months after its posting so, while we don't have a budget to pay the announcers, there would be good experience and good exposure for the chosen pair.
