Sportswriter for the Grand Island Independent
The Grand Island Independent is looking for a sportswriter, whose primary duty would be covering high school sports. Some Husker and area college coverage would also be included. This person would also have to work some sports copy desk shifts. Experience using InDesign would be beneficial, but training would be provided.
Skills: The ability to report and write on deadline; good copy editing skills and ability to take on projects for the Web site.
