KFOR News Anchor/Reporter (part-time on air)

Can you multi-task? Then get your feet wet on the weekends on KFOR, Lincoln’s number one station for News that is First, Fast and Accurate.
Job: Week day news Anchor/Reporter
Tasks: Write, produce and deliver the news in a short, succinct and clear fashion at both the top and bottom of the hour in two to three minute newscasts, following ABC Radio news. Must be able to conduct telephone interviews, listen to scanner, make telephone calls to local first responder agencies to verify scanner activity and to monitor weather radio. Must have clear and concise writing style and must be able to take directions.
Start Date is immediate and wages are commensurate with performance. This is a part time job, consisting of 25 hours per week, but could in the future evolve into more. Hours are 8:30AM to 1:30PM M-F.
