Coolest assignment ever!

Last week the Wisconsin Air National Guard invited a group of journalists and educators on a refueling mission. It was so cool! I flew in a KC-135 and watched the boom operator fuel F-16s at 26,000 feet above the Upper Peninsula. I thought the plane would be small so I packed light, too light, I should have brought some longer glass. But other than kicking myself for that, it was an awesome day.
