This place is incredible...

Day 1 - Day 3 @ Grey

Orientation was a little long but needed. I met some people I sat with and also got to hear the new president of the company talk about his vision for progress of Grey. Theres are about 50 interns total in the program. Seven of them are on the creative side with me. With this blog this summer I will not be able to write a lot of specifics and maybe not even be able to mention brand specifics because of a confidentiality agreement but I can still say what I'm doing for the most part.

The section of Grey that I work at is a new floor called "Yerg" which is "Grey" backward. It is what some of them call Grey's playground because it has a foosball table, frisbees, lacrosse sticks, tons of things to throw around and plenty of other toys. Don't get me wrong, lots of work goes on there. It's just awesome to be able to take a break to play foosball, throw the frisbee etc. The dress code and hours are very laid back as well...within reason of course.

Grey has some very cool accounts. Not sure if I can mention which ones but will find out because they are pretty notable.

Everyone in my group in very talented. I saw some of the work that one of them has done that just graduated from the School of Visual Arts and he's got some impressive stuff.

Today I was laying out, resizing and redesigning some ads for a cell phone company. Lot of fun and they turned out pretty good.

Man, I promised myself I wouldn't make long boring entries so people would read them. Well, the first few days you have a lot of new stuff to talk about so stop yelling at me.
