Brent Atema, a graduate of Baylor University, chose the College of Journalism because it was recommended to him by numerous people in Journalism and education. Brent earned a graduate assistantship and is currently seeking his Master of Arts with an emphasis in News-Editorial. Originally from Brentwood, Tennessee, Brent really enjoys traveling, cooking, anything involving sports, and has an addiction to sweet tea. The love of traveling sparked an interest in Brent's career goals. He would like to work in the travel/international journalism industry in order to find a way to make Americans interested in other countries and their cultures. Brent also hopes to live on every continent in the world except Antarctica.
