Jenifer Calandra

M.A. News-Editorial

Jenifer Calandra is currently receiving her Master of Arts with an emphasis in News-Editorial from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Truman State University, a liberal arts school in northeast Missouri. Even with acceptance to a few other graduate schools, Jenifer chose the University of Nebraska-Lincoln because everyone was so friendly; she received congratulatory phone calls on her acceptance and assistantship. Jenifer's hobbies include DIY (do it yourself)/crafting, listening to music on vinyl and putting together her own, personalized cookbook. After completion of the program, she plans to work in the newspaper industry with the ultimate goal of being the editor-in-chief of a publication. Then she would like to teach communication and journalism classes at a liberal arts college. (She loves the liberal arts.)
