Shane Haley

Master of Fine Arts (MFA)

Shane Haley, originally from New Burgh, New York, is aspiring to earn his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Shane received his BFA in painting and BS in Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is currently teaching visual literacy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. He enjoys art, music, traveling, photography, winter camping, and movies. His appreciation for art allowed him to talk with Norman Rockwell. After completing his degree, Shane wants to continue teaching at the college level and one day have a display of his work at the Guggenheim Museum.
