The Society of Professional Journalists
The campus chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists offers broadcasting and news-editorial students opportunities for professional and social growth. The chapter:
- sponsors speakers and programs to provide a forum for discussion of journalistic issues
- holds numerous social events and outings during the year
- creates opportunities for students to meet professionals
The organization is open to all students pursuing careers in news, either print or broadcast.
