Social

Kappa Kappa Gamma's social events help the members of Sigma Chapter create lasting memories with the friends they will have forever. Each semester, the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma plan several theme parties along with a few annual events.

In addition to theme parties, the women of Sigma Chapter enjoy two formals. The winter formal is held in December with another sorority or fraternity. Before the dance, members go out for group dinners in the Haymarket and take pictures in front of the holiday lights. The Kite and Key Formal is held annually in the spring with Kappa Alpha Theta in celebration of being the first sororities on the UNL campus.

Family members also get to join in the fun. Parents Weekend is held in the fall to get Kappa parents acquainted with each other. These Two days are jam packed with fun activities such as brunch, a silent auction, and group movie outings. In the spring, each year alternates between Dad's Day and Mom's Day. To entertain the fathers, Husker Basketball and Baseball games are among the favorite activities. For Mom's day, trips to paint pottery for great keepsakes provide an opportunity for some mother/daughter bonding.

This is just a quick glance into the great time members of Kappa Kappa Gamma enjoy throughout their college years and it is obvious that girls just wanna have fun!
