Kauffman Residents' Association, or KRA, is the hall government of the Kauffman Center. KRA works to ensure that a fun, positive living environment is provided for all residents. We organize social and cultural events, volunteer activities, building improvements, and more.

Here are some of the things KRA has done in the last year:

• Replaced missing remote controls in the lounges
• Bought 300 tacos for hungry residents during finals week
• Installed an indoor bike rack (special thanks to Landscape Services)
• Held Kauffee Houses on the first Sunday of most months, often with live entertainment
• Collaborated with UNL Housing Facilities to obtain patio furnitures and new lounge furniture
• Provided cultural enrichment through celebrations of Persian New Year and Japanese Doll Festival
• Purchased cookware and utensils for both student kitchens
• Re-tipped the cues in the pool room
• Organized a holiday caroling visit for elderly Lincoln residents
• Held a photo contest giving Kauffman residents the opportunity to have their work hung in our halls
• Created a Haunted Maze for the campus-wide Halloween 2005 Haunted Hall event, winning Best in Show, Most Popular, and Most Attendance in Division 1 (34.5%)
