"Did you ever wake up and wonder if you joined the right sorority? We don't."

Having the support of my KD sisters at my wedding meant so much to me I can not put it into words! You know they are there for you on daily basis around the house but when 16 girls travel to a different city to celebrate with you, it gives proof to how meaningful your friendship is. We had so much fun dancing the reception away and hanging out at my parents’ pool for the after party. I also loved when they sang the KD song to me. These are memories and ladies I will never forget!

Kappa Delta taught me that sisterhood isn't about elaborate, organized events: it's about your sisters. They share your laughter, your joy in being asked out by the cutest guy in your lab, and your sorrow. They are there for you every day of every week. From concerned question about your cruel Advanced Managerial Accounting professor to a sticky note filled with encouragement left on your desk--sisterhood is about the love you have for each other.

It is almost impossible for me to list everything that Kappa Delta means to me... With each passing day, I have a deeper respect and appreciation for for our rituals, our sisterhood, and the strength of the bond that we share in KD. I am confident that Kappa Delta will be as close to my heart in 30 years as it is today. I am so proud of the sisterhood that the KD ladies of Pi chapter have built, and I feel privileged to be a part of it. I trust that AOT will guide our steps in the coming year...and as a result, our sisterhood will continue to be strengthened.

On the day of my wedding it became clear what Kappa Delta means to me. My two personal attendants and one of my bridesmaids were friends of mine from KD. Our senior year became a very busy year for all four of us and with two of us planning weddings and everyone trying to figure out where their lives were going we did not make much time for each other. At my wedding I realized how much these girls knew about me and how much they cared about me and my happiness. They all worked hard throughout the day to make sure that I had an absolutely beautiful day. At the reception all the KD’s in attendance circled around me and sang. There was a lot of laughter and a few tears. When the DJ called us by the wrong name we all, loud and proud, shouted KAPPA DELTA to correct him. Finally, at the end of the night when it was time to close down the dance floor it was those three incredible women who were still dancing beside me. From start to finish it was my KD sisters who got me through one of the most important days in my life and I cannot express in words how much each of them means to me.
