| Fall Formal Recruitment is a four-day process. You are required to participate in all scheduled events. Formal recruitment usually takes place the week prior to the first day of classes. You will be able to move into the residence halls prior to school starting.
As Fall Formal Recruitment continues, individual sororities invite prospective members to their sessions based on criteria specific to each chapter. The number of sessions you attend is reduced daily, allowing you to spend more time at those sororities in which there is a mutual interest. Every attempt is made to help you have a positive experience. |

During the week of Fall Formal Recruitment you will have a Recruitment Guide who can answer questions about recruitment, sorority experiences, and college life in general. These Recruitment Counselors are members of sorority chapters who have been chosen to help you. More than 90 percent of the young women completing Fall | |||||||||
| Formal Recruitment pledge a chapter. To gain the most from Fall Formal Recruitment, you are encouraged to keep an open mind and avoid making premature decisions. Just follow your heart and realize that no matter where you end up, it will be a wonderful experience!

Bid Day Bid Day is the first chance for us to meet our new pledge class and for them to get to know us. It takes place the Friday of recruitment week. Joining a sorority is a life-changing decision, and we want the wonderful young women to know they've made the right choice. The afternoon and evening is filled with group photos, games and socializing. |
