Please, always store your cassettes in their cases in order to protect them. Keep your cassettes away from heat and magnetic sources such as radios and televisions.
If it should happen that the tape deck stops by itself, check why it stopped. Don’t simply try to restart the cassette. If you do, the machine may chew it up. If a machine stops by itself, it means either that the tape is at its end, or that there is a malfunction with the tape or tape deck.
If there is a malfunction, take the cassette out of the machine, take up the slack in the cassette with a pen or pencil, and try it again. Most likely, it will work now. If the cassette still doesn’t run properly, there is probably a malfunction in the tape deck.
If there is any sort of malfunction, please let the director or the attendant know, so that the problem can be corrected.
