Working with the Tapes

Once your cassette has the instructional material on it, you may work with it in any of the tape decks. You don’t have to work through an entire lesson in one sitting. We recommend that you work with the recorded material in several sessions on a regular basis in order to aid retention of the material.

NOTE: The Lab is divided in half. One side of the Lab contains iMac computers; the other has video monitors. It makes no difference which side you sit on, since the cassette deck found in each station works independently of the computer/video monitor. Most of the time, you won't need to use anything but the cassette recorder.
