Biology

If you are interested in a career in biology, life sciences, or health-related fields, the Biology Learning Community is for you. As a member of the learning community, you will live in Abel Hall, take introductory courses in biology and psychology, as well as the ecology of the great plains, with other members of the community. You will have opportunities to visit to biology labs and field research sites, alongside opportunities to interact with faculty early in your college career. Further, you will be able to participate in a range of annual events, such as “Roadkill CSI” where students have the chance to practice their lab skills by examining and dissecting roadkill.
