Branch Out Joint ROTC

Apply by May 1
Joint ROTC

As a member of Branch Out: Joint ROTC, you will participate in a program designed to give individuals the opportunity to become military officers while completing a college degree. First-year students in any of the ROTC programs at UNL—Army, Air Force, and Navy—are strongly encouraged to join the Learning Community.

By participating in the Learning Community, you are able to live amongst your community on-campus to further build relationships with individuals who have similar interests and follow a similar schedule to you! Also, you will study alongside new and current Cadets and Midshipmen, while learning about the prospects afforded to future military officers.

Further, you will enjoy activities that broaden your understanding of the global community and the responsibilities of military officers. Some examples of exclusive activities range from social activities to bond in a casual setting like faculty/staff dinners and community camping trips to more academic/career exploration events like visits to military facilities and trips to educational centers like the Strategic Air and Space Museum.
