
What is a Scholars Community?
A scholars community differs from a residential learning community in that it is generally interdisciplinary, by invitation, and offered by one or more colleges. Our current communities, the Jones Scholars, the EN Thompson Scholars, the Justin Morrill Smith Scholars and CBA Connects all have goals of academic excellence regardless of the student's specific major, leadership development and the development of citizenship.What scholar communities do you offer?

Scholars communities are committed to staying aligned with the vision of the community. Depending on the community, members are invited based on a combination of academic achievement, demonstrated desire to participate in the community's goals or enrollment in the college.
