The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries is Nebraska's only comprehensive research library with a viable collection of over 2.5 million volumes.
With the continued growth of this collection of over 40,000 volumes per year, there is a growing need to alleviate overcrowding. A new high-density climate controlled facility is being built on East Campus to house at least 800,000 volumes of library materials.
