About

PURPOSE

UNL Libraries recognizes that a strong and high quality research library is a fundamental component required to support the research, teaching, and learning Mission of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Rapid changes in information technology and scholarly communication require that the Library continually assess its services, programs, and policies. It is for this general purpose that the UNL Graduate Student Library Advisory Board (GSLAB) is constituted.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Board is responsible for communicating thoughts, ideas, and concerns to the Dean's Office. The primary responsibility of this group is to make suggestions on ways to improve the effectiveness of the Library. Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide Library management with relevant user feedback and advice on library products and services to support graduate student research needs.
  • Provide input on library policies and services and recommend appropriate changes.
  • Communicate user needs to the Library, and communicate information about library products and services to the UNL research community.
