The librarian who receives your question may contact you for clarification or to notify you that your question has been forwarded to another library department or collaborating library. The library staff will answer questions about:
- UNL library collections, services and facilities
- research sources and effective search techniques
- access to IRIS, including the online catalog, electronic journals and databases
Some questions may be answered with suggested sources of information or referrals to other organizations.

Privacy Notice: Transcripts of email and chat reference questions and answers may be used by authorized library staff for research and statistical purposes. Transcripts will be deleted after 90 days.
