About E-Text

The E-Text center engages in digitization of UNL collections, following international standards for metadata creation and accepted guidelines for best practices in imaging. Examples of such collections are found in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries' online catalog under Image and Multi-media Databases (CONTENTdm) and the University Archives & Special Collections.

E-Text is associated with the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities, and frequently scholars have aided in the selection of collections for digitization. In addition to digitizing UNL collections, the E-Text center is willing to work collaboratively with social scientists and scientists on digital research projects.
