Who We Are

The Friends of the Libraries, UNL, is a non-profit organization that supports Nebraska's only comprehensive research library - a vital resource to UNL students, faculty and citizens of the state.

Since 1987 our mission has been to financially support the UNL Libraries. We also strive to make the UNL and Nebraska communities aware of the important role the UNL Libraries plays in their education. The Friends of the Libraries enrich the cultural environment on campus by partnering with other organizations to sponsor programs and events. We also advocate the need for adequate state funding for the University and encourage private gifts to the University Libraries.

We welcome all alumni, faculty, community members, and staff to join us in our endeavors.
