The login page below is an example of what one sees when accessing the Libraries' licensed databases from off campus. When a user clicks on any of the Libraries' licensed databases from off campus, a web page opens up (as seen below) asking for the user's last name and NU ID.

This is a contracted (licensed) database restricted to faculty, staff, and students currently registered or employed at UNL. It is covered by U.S. copyright Law (Title 17 U.S. Code).

Important!
You must have a University of Nebraska - Lincoln NU ID Number (found on your UNL NCard) to use this database. It appears in the graphic below circled in yellow.
In addition, you must also have "cookies" enabled in your browser.

Community Users may access electronic resources from the Libraries' main page at http://iris.unl.edu. Please see Multi-Search (for the Public). In addition, Nebraska residents may access electronic resources through Nebraska Access.

You must enter the number from your NCard in the NU ID field.

Use the Number circled -type in only the NU ID number.

 
For example, if your name is "Jane Smith" enter "Smith" and then press the TAB key
