About 2,000 texts, ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing. The eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries are about equally represented, with a smaller selection of seventeenth century texts as well as some medieval and Renaissance texts. We have also recently added a Provençal database that includes 38 texts in their original spellings. Genres include novels, verse, theater, journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises. Subjects include literary criticism, biology, history, economics, and philosophy. In most cases standard scholarly editions were used in converting the text into machine-readable form, and the data contain page references to these editions

A collection of digital art collections from several sources, including the Illustrated Bartsch, The Carnegie Arts of the United States Collection, the Huntigton Arcive of Asian Art, The Mellon International Dunhuang Archive, the Smithsonian Native American Art and Culture Collection, the Museum of Modern Art Architecture and Design Collection, and the University of Miami Cuban Heritage Collection. Images are available for architecture, painting, photography, sculpture, decorative arts and design, as well as archeological and anthropological objects.

Created by the Getty Research Institute, this is the only comprehensive American guide to the current literature of architecture and design. This database surveys more than 2,500 US and foreign journals and also provides nearly 13,000 citation records for architects' obituaries.

This on-line version of the Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS) contains over 640,000 records on all subjects (especially in the humanities and the social sciences) pertaining to East, Southeast, and South Asia published worldwide from 1971 to the present. Through the 1991 printed version, the BAS included citations to Western-language periodical articles, monographs, chapters in edited volumes, conference proceedings, anthologies, and Festschriften, etc. Monographs published since 1992 have not been added to the database, and users seeking such monographs are urged to consult other general resources and databases

A bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields. The CIS Extended Database (CIS-ED) includes bibliography for the following types of items beginning in most cases in 1974, or with the first issue of the journal if later: the entire contents of over 100 "core journals" (including pre-1974 coverage for a number of the most important journals),
selected articles since 1974 from about 900 additional journals in fields related to statistics, and
about 8000 books in statistics published since 1974.

Godey's Lady's Book FULL TEXT (1830-1885)
Text and illustrations of the influential 19th century woman's magazine. early issues included biographical sketches, articles about mineralogy, handcrafts, female costume, the dance, equestrienne procedures, health & hygiene, recipes & remedies, sheet music, etc. Gradually the periodical matured into an important literary magazine and contained extensive book reviews and works by Harriet Beecher Stowe, Edgar Allen Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and many other celebrated authors and poets and championed equality and education for women. It is considered among the most important resources of 19th century American life and culture.

An electronic version of the
Wellesley index, it provides access to printed sources of Victorian
thought and opinion. Although of prime interest to those studying
literature, history and Victorian life, the Index also covers articles on

philosophy. It is also a major source for researching women's writing,
including details of about 1,500 Victorian women writers. The electronic
