Academic Search Premier (1980 - INDEX; 1990 - FULL TEXT)
Provides journal coverage for most academic areas of study-including biological sciences, economics, communications, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts and literature, medical sciences and women's studies. It features: full text for over 1,230 journals with many dating back to 1990, abstracts and indexing for nearly 3,000 scholarly journals with many dating back to 1984 , coverage of 1,700 peer-reviewed journals, charts and graphs converted to keyword-searchable ASCII text, 10 full text reference books, and over 1.4 million company records from Dun & Bradstreet coverage of The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Christian Science Monitor

ComDisDOME (1997 - ) MULTIMEDIA RESOURCE
An information service, or portal, developed by Communication Sciences and Disorders educators and professionals for educators, clinicians, researchers, and students in the fields of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. The database connects users to over 130,000 citations from over 125 journals in the field (with full-text purchase options) and searches multiple content sources, including books and dissertations, from one location. It also provides links to associated authors, institutions, and Web sites.

Current Index to Statistics.
A bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields. The CIS Extended Database (CIS-ED) includes bibliography for the following types of items beginning in most cases in 1974, or with the first issue of the journal if later: the entire contents of over 100 "core journals" (including pre-1974 coverage for a number of the most important journals), selected articles since 1974 from about 900 additional journals in fields related to statistics, and about 8000 books in statistics published since 1974. Updated yearly.

Education: A SAGE Full-Text Collection (FULL TEXT)
Includes the full text of 26 peer-reviewed journals published by SAGE and participating societies distinguished by up to 40 years of backfiles, and encompasses over 8,000 articles.

It covers such subject areas as: Adult and Continuing Education, Educational Administration, Educational Policy, Elementary and Primary Education, High School and Secondary Education, Higher Education, International Education, Leadership, Measurement and Testing, Multicultural Education and Diversity, Professional Development, Teaching and Instruction, Teaching Methods.

The searchable database consists of bibliographic records (indexed summaries or abstracts) as well as the complete text of each journal article. Every bibliographic record in the Collection links to the appropriate full-text in PDF format.

A bibliographic database of more than half a century of indexing from an international range of more than 800 English-language periodicals.

ERIC (education) Index/abstracts.
Via FirstSearch, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts or Department of Education (1966- )
Information system sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. Indexes over 750 professional journals (equivalent to the print publication Current Index to Journals in Education) plus annotated references to nonjournal material issued in the monthly Resources in Education (RIE). It is a guide to published and unpublished sources of educational materials produced by the Educational Resources Information Center and contains a helpful thesaurus. Updated monthly.

MAS Ultra - School Edition (INDEX, 1984- , FULL TEXT, 1985 - )
Designed specifically for high school libraries, this provides full text from over 515 popular general interest and current events publications covering general reference, health, science, and other areas. Every full text articles is assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Examples of publications included: America's Civil War, American Heritage, American History, American Visions, Archaeology, Astronomy, Bioscience, Careers & Colleges, Civil War Times Illustrated, CQ Weekly, Discover, Economist, History Today, Nation, National Review, New Republic, New Scientist, Popular Science, Science News, Scientific American, Smithsonian, World War II, etc. Also includes more than 3,000 charts, tables and graphs; 5,000 full text Magill Book Reviews; nearly 550 health and science-related full text pamphlets; coverage of more than 250 reference books (including the Columbia Encyclopedia, the CIA World Fact Book and World Almanac & Book of Facts) and an image collection of 91,000 photos, maps & flags.

Modern Language Association International Bibliography. (1984- ) INDEX
Indexes critical materials on literature, criticism, drama, languages, linguistics, and folklore. Includes children's literature and book reviews. Provides access to citations from over 3,500 journals, series, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies. Coverage is international. Updated 10 times a year.

Primary Search (INDEX, 1984 - , FULL TEXT, 1989 - )
Designed specifically for elementary school libraries and public library children's rooms, this contains full text for more than 60 popular, elementary school magazines, with each article assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Also includes indexing and abstracts for about 100 magazines and the full text for over 100 student pamphlets. Examples of publications covered in Primary Search include: Appleseeds, Boys' Life, Cobblestone, Cricket, Highlights for Children, Hopscotch, Jack & Jill, Ladybug, Ranger Rick, Science World, Spider, SuperScience, Time for Kids and Turtle. This database also provides the American Heritage Children's Dictionary and an Image Collection of over 100,000 photos, maps and flags.

Psychology: A Sage Full-Text Collection

PsycINFO (1887 - )INDEX/ABSTRACTS
Contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and technical reports, as well as citations to dissertations, all in the field of psychology and psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business and law. Journal coverage includes international material selected from more than 1,400 periodicals written in over 35 languages. Current chapter and book coverage includes worldwide English-language material published from 1987-present. Over 55,000 references are added annually through monthly updates. SPORTDiscus (Dates vary by publication, 1830- ) INDEX/FULL TEXT
Indexes the literature on all aspects of exercise physiology, physical education, physical fitness, sports, sports medicine, recreation,coaching, physical fitness, the psychology, history and sociology of sport, training, and conditioning.It contains over 650,000 records with journal article, conference proceedings and monograph coverage going back to 1800; over 20,000 dissertations and theses and reference to articles in 60 different languages.
