FACILITIES
ComputersThe Engineering Library maintains several computer workstations near the Circulation Desk to access the UNL Libraries' Website, where patrons can search the UNL Libraries' catalog, the online databases, and other Internet resources. Icons on each computer screen link directly to important databases for engineering-related research. Printing is available through the Uniprint System.
Patent and Trademark Depository Library Program search room facility
A United States Patent and Trademark Depository Library since 1978, the Engineering Library maintains a separate search room facility within the library. In this facility two computers are available for patent and trademark research, downloading, and printing. One of these is the US Patent and Trademark Office provided CD-ROM/DVD CASSIS 2 Workstation for multi-point access to patent information, related statistics, and speedy printing of patents from DVDs. The other is a PC for access to patent and trademark information on the USPTO Web site.
Microform Equipment
Two microform reader/printers are available for viewing and printing from microfilm and microfiche.
Copy Machines
Two self-service photocopying machines are available. Both are coin and card fundable. The cost for photocopies is 5 cents per page. Copicards are available for purchase in the Engineering Library.
Study Areas
Study areas are available throughout the library.
