Reciprocal Borrowing
Reciprocal Borrowing is an alternative to interlibrary loan. The UNL Libraries have Reciprocal Borrowing agreements with other academic libraries in Nebraska and around the country. These programs allow UNL faculty, staff and students to check out materials from other cooperating libraries.
Materials with a location of "LDRF" can be retrieved for patrons not eligible for a borrower's card. Let circulation, interlibrary loan or reference staff know that there is a book or journal you would like to see and it can be brought to Love Library for building use only. Most materials will be available within 1 business day.
If materials are available at another library in the UNL system, patrons will need to visit that library to use the materials there.
