Manfred Jacobson, Professor (Ph.D. Chicago) 19th-century literature; the novelle, Professor of German, has been at UNL since 1973. His areas of specialization include nineteenth-century German literature, theory of the Novelle, translation and the Frankfurt School. He is also affiliated with the program in Judaic studies.
