Innovative Exhibit Design

The University of Nebraska State Museum's exhibits department designs and constructs all exhibits in-house. Exhibit design in Morrill Hall requires creativity and innovation to accommodate large specimens in small areas. The designs have successfully integrated interactive components in both permanent and temporary exhibits.

The Mesozoic Gallery design required mounting numerous large marine fossils in 750 square feet of exhibit space. To accomplish this some of the specimens were mounted in exhibits that are part of the floor.
