The All-Collegiate Chorus (formerly the Oratorio Chorus) is comprised of UNL students as well as singers from the Lincoln area. Non-music majors are welcome and encouraged to join. This group performs large-scale works with orchestra, organ, and piano accompaniment as well as popular choral favorites. They also perform in combination with other choirs for gala occasions. In past years, the All-Collegiate Choir has sung such works as Haydn's Harmoniemesse, Mozart's Requiem and Solemn Vespers, the Bruckner Te Deum, the Poulenc Gloria, the Magnificat and several cantatas of Bach, King David of Honegger, Camina Burana of Carl Orff, Mass settings by Rossini, Dvorák and Kodály, and contemporary works by Britten and Libby Larsen as well as the Beethoven Symphony No. 9 and Mahler's Symphony No. 2.
Membership in the Concert Choir is open to all university students, regardless of major. A non-threatening audition at the beginning of each semester is held to gauge voice type and quality. New members are welcomed each semester. Audition information can be obtained from Dr. Therees Hibbard at thibbard2@unl.edu
