The Concert Choir includes all freshmen music majors as well as any other student within the university community who enjoys the camaraderie of performing great choral literature. In addition to performing independently, the Concert Choir also regularly performs in combination with other UNL choirs. Basic sight-singing, choral fundamentals, and pedagogical skills are taught and emphasized throughout the year.
Membership in the Concert Choir is open to all university students, regardless of major. A non-threatening audition at the beginning of each semester is held to gauge voice type and quality.
