The University Chorale performs soprano/alto literature ranging from Renaissance pieces to Broadway medleys. The Chorale joins the Varsity Men's Chorus for joint concerts several times each year, including the annual “Big Sing” with Kansas State, and often appears in area church settings and on brief tours. They have been invited to sing for the state, regional, and national conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and/or the Music Educators National Conference.
Membership in the University Chorale is open to all university students, regardless of major. A non-threatening audition at the beginning of each semester is held to gauge voice type and quality. New members are welcomed each semester. Audition information can be obtained from Dr. Rhonda Fuelberth at rfuelberth2@unl.edu (402-472-3349)
