The "Our Father" PrayerIn Matthew 6, Jesus talks to his disciples about prayer, and he gives them an example of how to pray called The Lord's Prayer. While this prayer is good to pray by itself, it also can be used as sort of a template to pray by. A great way to see how God is working in your life is to record your prayer requests with the date for each of these areas (below) and the date and the answers beside them. It's awesome to see how God works in our lives! "Our Father in heaven may your name be honored."
"May your Kingdom come soon."
"May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven."
"Give us our food for today"
"And forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us."
"And don't let us yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."
"For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory."
