Lisa Olson

My name is Lisa Olson and I grew up outside in a little town in eastern Pennsylvania called Bangor. There I attended church each week faithfully with my parents and sister, but I never really understood how personal God could be. When I was 16, I attended a church camp where I heard about how Jesus wanted me to know Him personally. In my heart I knew that I was a sinner and believed that Jesus died for my sins on the cross. I made the decision to trust Jesus at camp. It is the best decision I have ever made! Since that trip, twelve years ago, my life changed a lot. When I went off to college at Penn State I grew in walking with Jesus on a daily basis. Through continually taking steps in trusting God with my life, he led me to join Navigator staff in 2002 through a program called EDGE Corps. I have served at both Texas Tech University and currently at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I LOVE it!
