The W.M. Keck Research
Center for Mesospin and Quantum Information Systems is conducting frontier
research on mesospin structures, which hold great potential for future
advanced data storage, logic operations and quantum information systems.
Our studies of the theory, characterization and fabrication of mesospin
structures provide the understanding and breakthrough applications needed
to develop alternate technologies as silicon-based electronics reaches
its size limits in the coming decade. The Keck Center was established at the University of Nebraska by a grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation in 2002. |
