NCMN's NEW OUTREACH POSTERS have attracted attendees at several promotional events in the past weeks. These large posters represent Member departments and illustrate current research examples from each. The first of recent events were: The Big Red Road Show at the Qwest Center-Omaha, 12th Annual Women in Science Conference at Holiday Inn-Downtown, and Sunday with a Scientist at UNL State Museum
NCMN helps recruit high school seniors to member departments each year by participating in the Big Red Road Show event. Giveaways, hands-on experiences, and personal advising with support students in their college search process.
NCMN teamed up with UNL's Food Processing Center to produce Nano Ice Cream !!! 10 GALLONS were served at the summer undergraduate REU student's "Research Symposium Luncheon" hosted by UNL's Graduate Studies
The Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln presented a Nano Science Cafe' at Red9
