Meeting, Conference and Banquet Rooms

The Nebraska Unions are the primary meeting places at UNL. Over 10,000 events are accommodated each year in the City Union, East Union, and Culture Center. Over 95% of the events were sponsored by Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) or UNL Departments. All rooms are custom prepared to the user's specifications based on their needs. A variety of special equipment is available upon request at no charge.

General Assembly Rooms and Suites

The Nebraska Unions manage three of the largest rooms in Lincoln, the Centennial Room, the Ballroom, and the Great Plains Room. The City Union renovation, completed in 1999, offers meeting rooms and suites overlooking the Union Plaza and Broyhill Fountain.

The state-of-the-art Auditorium in the City Union features seating for 300, uplink capabilities, and PC, VCR, CD, and slide presentation formats. These rooms serve as a valuable resource to the UNL community for major event programming.
