2014 Poetry Of Place Event
NE state capitol domeOn May 2, 2014, twelve poets gathered in the Nebraska Capitol Rotunda Warner Chambers of the Nebraska State Capitol to read their poems in celebration of local place. Read student poetry here.
Spring Gathering Honorees
Daniel Boster was named the 2014 Carol MacDaniels Teacher of the Year, Rex Anderson received the Administrative Support award for 2014. Dr. Robert Brooke was honored for his 20 years as Director of the Nebraska Writing Project, at the 2014 Annual Spring Gathering on May 2.
"I Love to Write", "I Love to Write2, "We Love to Write" Andrews Hall on the UNL campus rocked with forty-one elementary writers in the mornings, eight middle school writers in the afternoons and 23 family writers who participated in these annual summer workshops. (read more)
