    The Dinner Project

    About the Project ...:


      The goal of this demonstration project is to center communities through
      cross cultural sharing. The Dinner Project brings people together in
      culturally and socio-economically diverse communities to examine
      different experiences of making "home," and to remember the varied
      homelands/birthplaces they have left behind. Diverse groups in three
      Nebraska communities will come together to share stories and food.
      Artist/facilitators will collaborate with community members to plan
      the "story circles" and dinners in private homes.
