The Mead Public High School has a planning grant to develop an innovative new magnet school curriculm in the agriculture sciences. Instruction will be offered on-site in Mead, at the nearby Agriculture Research and Development Center, and by distance technology. Partners include the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Nebraska Department of Education.
Enrollment in Magnet School classes began with the 2000-2001 school year.
