Community Publishing Company
- Roger Atwood and
Michelle Mason Winston
- This is a Web-publishing project that will be attractive to communities
across Nebraska. It acquaints students with members of their community
and helps them understand how local economics work. Adults and children
are learning about technology and the basics of Web publishing through a
series of short workshops. The product is a community-developed Web
site describing the unique aspects of a community: economic conditions,
community assets, historical notes, individual histories, businesses, and
community development plans.
