I am a first-generation college graduate with a passion for helping students succeed. My family and my Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., brothers provided me with a blueprint to reach my goals and I strive to support those who may not have the same support and guidance.
A native of Kansas City, Kan., I was quickly indoctrinated in University of Nebraska-Lincoln tradition when I arrived on campus in 2007. Since 2009 I have served as director of the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services and director of the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.
I look forward to calling UNL my alma mater upon completion of my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Higher Education.
I am happily married to an extremely supportive wife and we have three wonderful children.
